I really liked this one. I didn’t have high hopes since the first one didn’t do it for me. I still think this is too long for a romance though. Garrett is cute AF. He seemed supportive of Jennie through her past struggles and I appreciate that Becka Mack dabbled with some sensitive topics.

Great emotional sports romance. Still a deeper emotional ride with more serious themes than a standard sports romance com. Didn’t hit with me as much as Consider Me, but still a solid story. Will continue the series and check out more by this author.

Not as good as the first book in series, Consider Me.  FMC has lots of baggage and that was drug out too long.  HEA
