Not a great book. It starts cute but then draws on way too long, gets preachy, and overall isn’t the best. Watch out for sexual violence triggers. (and overuse of trope)

☀️Review☀️

Finished this one just in time to include it in my February wrap up (coming tomorrow).

I was hesitant about this one because I didn’t love the first book in the series. Ut was middle of the road for me, not amazing, not terrible. But I was encouraged by some people online that they felt the same way and enjoyed the other books in the series a lot more so I bit the bullet.

Glad I did. I liked this one!!

I think I liked Garrett a lot more than I liked Carter and that made a huge difference in the my experience with the story. I also liked this story more in general. I always enjoy a good friends to lovers trope but I felt this one progressed more naturally and the characters didn’t rapidly change in an unrealistic way. I loved the integrations between Jennie and Garrett and the stories behind their characters and why they are the way they are. I enjoyed the growth they showed together within the story.

I will continue to read this series and I look forward to Adam’s book! I think he’s gonna be my fave.

Another day, another book.

I absolutely adored Garrett from the first book so seeing him become friends and then fall in love with Jennie was just perfect.

I loved this and CANNOT WAIT FOR ADAM

Enjoyable read but think this book could have been 200pages shorter and not lost much
