Diving into the second part of this series was the best choice I've made. The first book was good, but the second book was even better!! This story beautifully builds upon the first book and encapsulates the perfect combination of fantasy and reality. Mashing together the adventure of life, love, and hope into this beautifully mended world of fiction. 

Alix created a world and characters that I would read over and over. This feels like a newlyfound comfort book for me. ~

This novel has given me a feeling of reprieve of the overwhelm of life with a feel-good ending that leaves you giddily smiling. Through and through, I fully recommend this book!

I absolutely love this style of reimagined multiverse fairy tale stories. They are intriguing and so fun! The whole “sick and dying girl who is self destructive” narrative got a little tiring this time around but the story was still great. I really love that the villains are given a voice behind why they were perceived as villains. This was a great listen and a great idea!

A super fun Snow White retelling for adults that’s lgbtq and has disability rep. 

Zinnia’s sarcastic narration was amazing. The change of Eva from villain, morally gray, to hero was a fun transition to see.

I do wish Eva and Zinnia had gotten their happily ever after together, but alas.
