The perfect cozy mystery for adults who grew up reading all the books where animals were main characters. I adored this book— the writing style, characters, setting, & plot. I also didn’t have an inkling of whodunnit until I was supposed to. So well done, and the audiobook narration is amazing. I listened to it, but this might be a series I have to go out and buy physical copies of, it’s just so perfect. To the authors— thank you for writing this. I needed it.

I really enjoyed this cozy murder mystery. Learning about all of the forest creatures and viewing their day-to-day while trying to read between the lines to figure out who done it. When Vixen and Chitters discovered the payments to B.S., I was convinced the killer was BW Stone because that was the only animal whose name matched the initials I bought book 3 and will be looking for 2 and 4 soon
