im sorry, it just looks like a wattpad story someone would write.
idk the part with the clowns and his friends was very weird, it made me uncomfortable, the scene with the candles too, like...

also it didn't make me feel horny. it was very male-y gaze for me.

Yep, that's right, I read the most controversial book in Tiktok. And to be honest, it wasn't THAT bad. Actually, I kind of liked it. I was expecting something completely out of the ordinary, something horrifying, that would make my blood run cold from how graphic it was... And it wasn't the case. Yes, there are some "graphic" scenes where they touch on topics like public humiliation, role-playing and phobias. However, the author didn't really show as many graphic scenes as I thought she would, considering that there is an one-paragraph long warning before reading the book. I even found some scenes funny (and I don't think that was the purpose of these). But I can tell you I did feel the butterflies in my stomach while reading, it made you want more and that's something to be rescued.

I personally DO NOT recommend you this book if you haven't read any book with graphic sex scenes in it, because it might be shocking for you.

I would have liked the story to be a little longer though, since there was barely any character development in the book. What a shame... 'cause it was oddly enternaining. Read this book under your own risk as always, and when doing so, do not normalize or put into practice the games and scenes that are in it. It may seem fun and curious to experience, just as it may not be.

Remember, guys, this is fiction.

UGH THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD! BEST 133 PAGES OF MY LIFE.

When I say I wanna read smut I mean this! Not necessarily the kink stuff but something with this amount of tension and chemistry. The smut was fucking incredible, though! It might've unlocked some kinks lmao! But it was so good, so intense and full of teasing. Ugh! Loooooooved it!

Manson and Jess were such interesting characters, and Laroux did an amazing job introducing them to us. I'm still surprised how she managed to show so much connection and chemistry between them in such a short time. Their interactions also felt so natural and flowy.

I highly recommend it if you want some good smut with lots of kinky shit. Do check out the trigger warnings and kinks involved before reading, though.

I enjoyed this book just as much as I did the first time I read it. It's still as hot and spicy at I remember it being. I still love Manson and his friends as much as I did before. I also loved how Jessica's friend Ashley supported whatever Jessica wanted to do and have Jessica a way out if wanted. I liked pretty much every character in this book. I don't know if that'll change in the Losers Duet or not but for now all the characters were really fun. I'm excited to get into the first book in the duet.

The point of this book is smut. But it works because the characters do have their motivations and there is a plot. I was in shock while reading it, the type of shock where you have to know what they’re going to do next.

The first published book of Harley's that I have read and that went into a completely different direction with the plot.
It's Halloween themed. Do I love that? No. Do I love this book anyway? Heck, yeah.
I relate a lot to Jess, even though I don't like Halloween. I am also very careful with how society perceives me, and I tend to do the opposite of what I am told - and also, I am extremely coulrophobic, so when I read that some of Manson's friends were dressed up as clowns, I wanted to throw my phone across the room.
I know that the clown gang bang situation is not everyone's favorite, and to be honest, it isn't mine either, but if there's one thing that Manson got completely right it's that "getting scared turns the little angel on."
Speaking of Manson, I think he's my favorite out of all of Harley's male characters so far. He seems like the type of person a masochist would get along with well, because he knows those types of people, and he knows how to get them to want things they think they don't want.
But also you can tell that under his dom mask, he's a normal human being who also just needs love aside from control.
I think that's also what makes him and Jess such a perfect pairing - they both want love, but they're particular about how and when they receive it.
Harley, I hope you're reading this, because I need a sequel to this damn book.
