A cute premise but way too much filler. I found it very similar to one of my favorites, Such A Fun Age, but this one fell flat and the leads were insufferable. I literally cringed on behalf of these two fictional characters.

I struggled with this one. I didn’t love the characters and felt the plot was lacking.
Compelling story of a young mother and her nanny, with some social commentary woven in. Interesting but highly flawed characters who made me feel grateful for my relationships.

This was a great character driven story about two women in completely different times of life and how they interact with each other. Honestly, it was a great story about relationships- romantic and platonic. This book considers what it’s like to be young and looking forward to a life and things you don’t have yet, and being older and having those things with the ability to influence the younger person. The two MCs were well written and their stories both interesting. I did think some things were tied up a little too neatly- specifically some of the small side plot stuff, but overall this was a satisfying read.
