I tried to read this book several months ago, and I never added it because I feel so ashamed that I even tried to read this horrendous garbage.
The story line was ridiculous, and the main character was vapid, annoying, self-centered and shallow. I was hoping part of the story line would be her growth into a decent human being, but that never happened. More times than I can remember I was sure she was about to be sexually assaulted by the "hot" guys at parties, but thinking that the story would actually deal with any real issues or emotions was ridiculous.
Seriously, one of the worst books I have ever encountered.

This book is adorable! Just a good old fashioned love story! Can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series! 7 more books!

Listened to this on Hoopla as I moved between houses. It kept me interested throughout.

So I'm horrible and I did what no human should do and I judged this book by its cover. What an idiot I am. I mean I always saw it ranked high in all the kinds of lists that I love but I just did not want to read the book with that dumb clip art heart on it. I finally pulled my head out of my ass because I couldn't find a book that suited my mood better than this one and I'm glad I did. This was so awesomely cute. In the beginning I was kind of doubting the story because the writing was pretty bad (it was from an elementary school girl's perspective) but I stuck with it and eventually it paid off. It was a very good story. I didn't have any bad feelings towards any of the three main characters which is hard to pull off in this kind of book. Instead I just kept jumping back and forth between who I loved more, Phillip or Danny. In the end though I think she ended up with who I wanted her to. Very cute read that I will most likely be reading again.

really cute and touching story i loved it and Phillip ;) so excited about the wedding

It’s cheesy. So cheesy. Don’t expect any ground breaking reading here. But the book is light and fun to read. I love a cheesy romance. And this fits it. I am now reading the second book. And I can’t wait.

“Walk into the place like you own it, JJ, and people will think that you do.” Of course, he also said, “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.”

This book was an emotional roller coaster for me - it had me laughing, crying, and smiling. You can literally feel every single emotion that Jaydyn feels. There are parts of the story that will have you absolutely hooked and you will not be able to put the book down. However there are also parts in it that are a little drawn out and made me want to put the book down completely.

I loved all the characters in the book - Jaydyn, Danny, and Phillip although their whole friendship I found to be odd and a little confusing and sometimes down right odd. Danny and Phillip are both personable, humorous, attractive, funny, and charming all at the same time. The writing was on the wall from the very beginning that Jaydyn was torn between the two and had feelings for them both. Jaydyn sort of bounced in between them throughout the book but never officially dated either one of them. Jaydyn often finds herself picturing what it would be like to date Phillip and Danny at different times throughout the book. However, I do have to say I had the upmost respect for the boys as they took all of Jaydyn's antics in stride especially when it was clear feelings existed, neither Danny nor Phillip ever get mad at one another or allow it ruin their friendship.

Jaydyn is a little all over the place, her attitude, tantrums and things were normal for a teenage girl. As she progresses into college and adulthood, things seemed to never be good enough and she did a lot of complaining but I still found that I loved her throughout the entire book. The ending literally had me shook!

4/5 Stars - Not sure if I will continue reading the series or not, I as a reader am pretty satisfied with the outcome of the book and don't know that I would find the remainder of the series as intriguing. This is a good, easy, clean read of becoming of age, and romance. Perfect for young readers!

Super easy read. Probably closer to a 3.5-3.75 but good story. It definitely caught me off guard and was fun to watch the relationship play out. Interested to see what the rest of the series does.

This was a pretty good book for a quick read. We follow haydn or JJ as her friend call her who grows up with her two best friends Phillip and Danny. You see them grow up together, support each other and even test the waters on what their relationships could be.

This was never a love triangle, which I loved. It was good to see boys and girls be friends where they could test to see if they could be something more, all the while respecting the other people in the friendship. Both boys in the friendship were likable and I honestly had a hard time picking which one j wanted her to end up with. Some of the book was funny and some of it was super cheesy but overall a pretty decent read, however k will admit it felt like at the end the author just wanted to hurry up and tied it all together.
