I was going to round it up to four stars, but I couldn't quite do it. I really did enjoy this book and it was my first ebook so that's exciting! But something about this book just didn't seem right. However, I may still give the sequel a chance.

What a cute book.
A nice light read - even parts that are more serious in nature aren't overwhelmingly emotional. This book would be great on summer vacation. I enjoyed Dodd's writing style - fun, flirty and sometimes a bit spastic (in a good way). I didn't find myself to concerned with these characters though - there was never enough of a real connection with any of them (except maybe Philip, whom it seemed obviously loved JJ through the entire book). Not sure if I'll read the rest of the series ... maybe when I'm at the cottage & want something I can easily pick up.
Overall, fun.

So light and summery, I absolutely loved the fact we went through an entire fourteen year journey with JJ. Reminds me of "PREP"
I’m definitely in the minority, but I just did not care for this book. I wasn’t a fan of the way this was written. I didn’t connect with J.J. and while I was happy with who she ended up with I wasn’t invested in any of her relationships with either guy.
OMG, I laughed. I cried. It was better than Cats.
In all seriousness, this book was fabulous. I loved every little thing about it. I fell in love with Phillip, Devil Danny, and Jadyn. Especially Phillip. It was just. So. Good. I liked how it seemed to be written like a diary, and we were getting a little peek into their lives. I loved how the friendship evolved with all three of them, and that they were able to remain so close through everything. I had a smile on my face through the majority of this book, and would recommend it to everyone.
