I remember this book being my fav from the series, in my childhood (probably, because it featured a horse, which was enough to catch my undivided attention back then). But, upon rereading this part, my opinion has slightly changed. I love the story, and the pace really picked up in the second half, but I feel like the story dragged on a bit.
I love that it's set during the Pevensies' reign, and this gives a little insight into that time, but it also confused me a bit, because it brought in a whole new world, that I don't necessarily associate with Narnia. It was still a good read, but it left me a tad dissappointed in this novel overall.
