I really enjoyed this book! At first I felt like I was reading slow and then hyper speed and also I was completely engrossed with the insight of the events and how life was for some in Russia among other spots in and near Europe in the 1980s. The Author’s not in the end really punched that storyline in and I am so grateful that I have been able to read her book early again! This one was an awesome nod to a Christie-like story mysteries, trains, and murder! What’s not to love!? I had such an excellent time binging this one!!!

I don't think there are any words to express just how boring this was. No one even died until almost 85% into the book. How are you going to relate this to Murder on the Orient Express when NO ONE IS DEAD.
We had to hear about Rory's boring ass life for sooooo long before Ginevra's story starts to come out, so by the time it did, I just didn't care anymore.

I won an advanced reader copy of this book. I entered based just off finding the title intriguing so didn’t really know what to expect!
Overall I thought the storyline was fantastic. Creative and original with so many twists I didn’t see coming. I also enjoyed the historical aspects to the storyline, particularly once reading the author’s note indicating her connection to it. I thought some of the writing could have been polished up a bit, but nothing that completely pulled me out of the story. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys twisty books and mysteries.

some aspects of this were interesting, but ultimately, it failed to keep me excited and interested. i think jaclyn goldis has great ideas for her books, but they usually fall a little flat
