Not just another thriller with a shocking twist, Hannah Mary McKinnon always surprises me! Vienna Taylor is a poor teen who meets wealthy Madison Pierce. Their first encounter isn't great, but they find a shared love of music and become best friends and form a band - MV. Several years later, they expanded the band, now called Bittersweet. The van they are traveling in goes over a cliff in a snowstorm and one dies. The other 4 have to survive, and hole up in an abandoned cabin. Later, there is only one survivor.

I was able to guess, quite early in the story, what was happening, but that did not take away from my enjoyment of the story. I like how Hannah Mary McKinnon laid out the story and parceled out the information, making you question if you were #Vienna or #Madison.
This was such a fun read that kept me guessing! I loved the dual timelines and the abandoned cabin in a snowstorm where you just know things are going to go wrong! I also really enjoyed reading about the different characters, their backgrounds, and how they all came together. It really let you explore the pros and cons of each lifestyle.
I LOVED the twist that took you from the first half to the second half of the book, but the second half started to seem a little repetitive and over the top. Even so, I thought this was a unique thriller and I really enjoyed the ride!
