Similiar to Harry Potter, I love the way the story is written and the mystery left behind. It leaves you wanting more. I love the diverse characters  and the relationships between them. This is an interesting read and took me not long to read. this is a little targeted at children, but still very good. If you love Greek mythology this is perfect. I loves the world- building and the mix of modern and Greek culture.

My first time ever reading Percy Jackson and I have to say… I LOVED IT. I originally enjoyed the movies but my best friend convinced me to read the first book and I’m so glad I listened. I love Percy as a character and he really stands out for me. He’s written very well even for a kid!! Grover and Annabeth are well written side characters and I can’t wait to get to know them more. I’m definitely continuing with this series and I’m going to read all of Rick Riordans other books too, he’s amazing.
