A great crime thriller that is judged by your sign, time and date of birth. Very different. Easy to read and fast paced.

This was one of the most disappointing books I’ve read in a long time. Not only was there a lack of character development, but they severely lacked likeable qualities. With so little investment in the characters it may be expected that the redeeming quality of the book would be a fast paced plot; instead it moves slowly, lurching between timelines and leaving the reader wanting more. It was an intense and difficult read, I wouldn’t recommend.

Even niet nadenken, heerlijk.

My first impression of this book was how it was a great metaphor for racism, discrimination, immigration and overall judgment on people based solely on how they are perceived at first sight and put into a category. This is a society where people are put into categories and are openly judged and perceived to be one way to the point where everyone believes this, and in this society this is an okay thing to do, to the extremes. This resembles reality and real life, even though this book is about something different, about individuals being in their zodic groups that they are born into, it reminded me of real life in a different way.

There is more to this story, so much more. There's murder, there's kidnap, there's mystery. This book is so clever and also made me really think about what was actually being said.

I will be posting a full review soon.
