Swoon Worthy Friends to Lovers!

This was an amazing friends to lovers romance. It’s over a decade worth of pining on both sides with strong family bonds, friendships, emotional moments, romantic and swoony moments, and super hot spicy scenes! Will be reading more MV books.

Emotionally Delightful

Gael and Jordan have a unique connection. I love how Gael's family accepted Jordan. It's a shame Gael cheated during his literal bachelor's party but their relationship is so sweet! Jordan was the best friend one could ever wish for

Ms. Valentine excels at emotional reads between characters who have history and this one does not disappoint. I generally don't like books with cheating, but this story really delved into how messy and complicated love and relationships and loyalty can be. It rips at your heart and is so aptly titled Ache. I loved the connection and appearance of Deacon and Julian from Without You. And if you haven't read that one, get on it now.

The cover photo is the breathtaking and gorgeous real-life couple of Chip (@booksovrbros) and Alexx.

What an emotional, beautiful story of love, family, heartache, friendship, & hope.
The love that Jordan felt for Gael was so special, their hearts were so entwined.
The pain and suffering, confusion makes your heart hurt for them.
I love how much Gael’s family has welcomed Jordan in.
I loved reading this, it filled my heart with happiness & love.

Cute lil mm romance (I blame Aj for this obsession)

Ache is such a perfectly titled book. It made my heart ache at the loveliness of the romance and for the lost time that these two should have been together.

This is a beautifully constructed MM romance with a best friends to lovers theme. I usually DNF books with cheating but this story was constructed around repression and regret and rejection. I found myself supportive of Gael and Jordan knowing that they probably went about things the wrong way. I hate that Elena was hurt but the narrative was respectful of her role within Gael's life and she felt important if not the burning, endless, aching love of Gael and Jordan.

This book was surprising in its twist which gave a deeper emotional momentum to the love story. These two were just too darn cute together.
