Omg be prepared to just sob your heart out. This book causes your heart to ache. It was so sweet and endearing and I loved every second of it. Highly recommend on audio

Wow. Wow. WOW.

Where do I even Start with this book? I am now obsessed with this author. Her writing made me feel so many things. I hurt when this character's hurt. I was so deeply in love when they were in love. I was hurt, frustrated, and felt all the longing right along side of them.

This was a beautiful love story with raw and true emotions all throughout. It was about love, heartbreak, accepting who you are and what you want in life even if it will hurt people.

I loved Jordan so much, he was such a beautiful man who had been hurt in his life but still loved so wholeheartedly and wanted nothing best love and the best for the people he loved. He was selfless and adoring. I loved how deeply he loved Gael, and how he wanted nothing but what would bring Gael happiness.

Gael you sweet loving little man. Gael was in a tight spot, but he is a caring and protective man. He loved just as selflessly as Jordan which is one reason they are an amazing couple. I loved that the pining wasn't just one sided in this book.

The theme of not labeling anything was beautiful. LOVE IS LOVE. The author made this come across beautifully.

This is definitely in my top favorites of all time and i have to shout out my girl @babygyalreadit (Follow her on instagram, twitter, and tiktok.) for his amazing recommendation. I can't wait to read this author's backlist.

Quando un libro ha tutto ciò che odi al suo interno eppure riesce a tenerti incollata e a farti provare tutto lo spettro delle emozioni umane ♥

The title is fitting. The way that she writes longing gets me. This was a MM life long friends to lovers that are secretly mutual pining.

Now, they do quench that thirst, which does involve cheating. Yet, the steam read like they were coming up for air.

The amnesia trope was unexpected, and did shift the tone of the book towards his recovery process and them making their way back to each other in the midst of an affair.

I just love the way that she can put her character through life tragedies and carve a heartfelt path of romance right through that.

Overall, I feel like I started my year out right.

Loved it!

The author captures the title of this book perfectly. Ache. These characters literally ache for each other. The pining and longing got me in my feels! I read this book in a day. I couldn’t put it down. Jordan and Gail have my heart.

3.75 stars. While I would have liked to see more of their friendship and development of their feelings in the ten years before the story started and it was sometimes hard to differentiate between their points of view, overall this was a emotional read where difficult situations were treated sensitively. I particularly loved the way these two openly communicated with each other and were honest about their feelings. Gael's family was lovely and I would love to see a sequel for Frankie.

The title for this book is extremely appropriate as I'm sure anyone who has read it would agree. As a reader, the majority of the book is spent with your heart aching for one of MCs. There is so much longing, so much pining which us readers know could have been helped with a simple conversation between best friends. It made me want to slap them upside the heads and yell "Open your damn eyes idiots!"

I was surprised that a few chapters are actually in the female fiance's POV. I still don't know if it caused me to feel more or less sympathy for her based on knowing her thoughts.

The blurb is very vague to avoid spoilers which is how I am going to leave my review. This book works better going in blind to all the events that lead up to the HEA.
