It was a fun read and I enjoyed reading it, but I considered to not finish it. The plot offers little surprises

the main character is a closeted gay guy which is obvious early on in the book

Not much happens at the party. The car accident is really such a cliché!

The changes of perspective offer a welcome interesting element.
I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe as a guilty pleasure.
