I like most Meg Cabot books for teens or adults so I thought I would see if this one was any good. It was only ok. I have found most of her other titles much better. I did not find the main character very likeable or her problems really that big of a deal.

A swing and a miss. I really didn't like this one, I just didn't care as much. I'm more disturbed that I read three Meg Cabot books in May...
Not the best story to come from Cabot, although maybe I m just a lot older and no longer get a lot of the teenage angst. I loved the male MC and really finished the book for him. The girl was difficult to digest.
A good mindless read for the Thanksgiving Break. Not a book I would plan to read, as the main character has some self-absorbed tendencies, but it's a cute book.
It's a bad book with bad writing and bad plot. The only reason this thing got published is because it's written by Cabot.
This is a case where nostalgia has led me astray I truly don’t understand what my younger self used to see in this book. I love Meg Cabot, but Katie is just not interesting enough to be an antihero and certainly not someone I want to relate to. It’s not my least favorite, but it’s definitely near the bottom of my YA re-reads this year.
