Sienna and her father have never been on good terms. He was madly in love with her mother who died in child birth with her. This has always led to him not wanting to be around her. Well now he is trying to change that and actually get close to sienna. This is when his best friend Nikolai comes in. He comes to her house to hang with her father when he bombards them both with a family vacation for them all to do together. This turns out to be a problem for them both because they are extremely attracted to each other but sienna knows she can’t make a move because he’s her fathers best friend!
I thought this book was really good during the whole middle but the end was a bit of a let down. I really was vibing which was surprising because I’m not much of a age gap/fathers best friend type of gal but this was done in a good way. I just think the ending was super rushed. Also (spoiler) I hate how there was no information about how they got together it was just he was there and now they are together? There was too much detail going into her fathers death when this is a romance and we didn’t get to see her build herself back up with him? I think the ending should be adjusted and it would have been really good.

The storyline is cute, but slow and also predictable. The ending felt like *read 1,5 pages*: “the end”… I don’t know, I liked it, but it isn’t one of my faves

I really enjoyed this book. I was expecting something a bit different going into it. This will definitely be an author I read again.
