This story definitely kept me invested, I really liked the whole plot outside of the romance. And don’t get me wrong, I love a good bully romance… but none of the actions of these two main characters made any sense, especially in the first half of the book. I think the writing just wasn’t there for me to connect with the bully romance part of it & it just made annoyed with the characters rather than connecting with them. Am I gonna keep reading this series still anyways? Yup.

I read this in one night, couldn’t and wouldn’t put it down. I was hooked from the first three chapters and wondered why haven’t I read this earlier.

Violet was in a terrible car accident and even after surgeries and a long recovery period, her dream of being a lead ballerina shattered along with the bones in her leg.
Greyson Devereux, the son of a rich and powerful man, was responsible for the accident and when the news picked up the story, the coach took him off the hockey team. Bad publicity. However, his father managed to sweep everything under the rug, pay for Violet’s surgery and force her to sign an NDA to drop her charges.

Listen, this is dark. And Greyson is a deranged bully, who’s possessive and jealous, unhinged and with zero control. But is it a crime when Violet plays into it and discovers that she has a twisted side too?
The tension between them was everything I ever needed and the spice was immaculate. Hands down one of the best - the scenes were varied but they were all along the same concept: claiming. Whether it’s about Greyson first realising that he wants her, convincing Violet that they belong together or proving to everyone around that she’s his… it was always about claiming. They’re both twisted but there’s something primal about everything Greyson does and I was there kicking my feet, living my best life.

⭐⭐⭐.5

This book was just way too long with repetitive scenarios.  Greyson takes bullying to a new level with Violet when they realize they attend the same school. Violet is a target for stalkers. Yes, plural.  How many? That would be a spoiler. Everyone is obsessed with Violet.  Except me, since I really didn't enjoy this.

Violet had terrible luck with the people in her life. The book didn’t need to be that long, there was different filler towards the end.
