Greyson and Violet are brought together through a car accident fate turning both their lives upside down. Months later arriving at the same college, coincidence? Greyson is set on breaking Violet like she shattered his reputation and image while trying to play hockey, in hopes to join the NHL post-college. Violet soon realizes Greyson isn’t just obsessed with hurting her physically, he’s a psychopath aimed on breaking her mentally as well.

There was a bunch of spicy content leading the reader to almost have whiplash. The level of detail both in the spicy scenes and through out the book is fabulous. I’d rate 4.5/5 🌶️.

I would 100/10 read this book and again and share with others. I enjoy the dark themed books and urge anyone to check the trigger warning prior to purchase to make sure they can handle this book.

Overall enjoyed the read. Hated the MMC for 80% of the book but then he redeemed himself to an extent. Definitely a dark romance vs a normal hockey romance.

This book might not be for everyone so please check TW before you read.

Wow I truly don’t know what words to use to describe this. I listened to this on Audible and it was absolutely incredible. I loved the way Greyson and Violet’s relationship evolved from the beginning to the end. I love the surprise and suspense of this book. I think S. Massery did an amazing job at keeping me wanting more. I was incredibly hooked on this book and just the writing style of it as well.

Greyson has a rough past and Violet is a threat to spilling all the secrets so he must keep her quiet. I truly just love the dynamic between the two of them.

I honestly don’t understand all of the low reviews people are leaving because they don’t like bully romance. Then why did you read this???

If you ARE a bully romance reader, this book was a great time! I literally couldn’t put it down and ended up getting 2 hours of sleep because of it. The MMC is absolutely unhinged and BRUTAL towards the FMC. He’s like Caden King level unhinged and in some ways reminded me of the MMC from Limerence. There’s also a decent amount of non-con if that’s a trigger. The writing is on the better side of dark romance which I appreciated (I’m not saying this is literature, but if you read indie dark romance, you know how AWFUL the writing can be). I did find the FMC to be kind of a dud, she just…lets everything happen to her without really trying too hard to fight back. I was hoping we would see exploration of it as a trauma response, but no, she just goes with the flow every time the MMC feels like being abusive. It made her feel a bit one-dimensional. Otherwise, loved this and looking forward to more in the series!

alright alright for a bully romance that i may or may not have spent the first 40 pages laughing at greyson bc he was so whiney when he legit did this to himself i thoroughly enjoyed this once i picked it back up
