Omg. I think this might be one of the worst books I’ve ever forced myself to read. Anyone who gave this above 1 star is as high as Violet’s opioid addicted mother.
This book is almost 600 pages! Why??! There were so many different storylines, and they were all a mess. Honestly, I don’t think this author could have even written one of them decently.
First storyline, MMC Greyson injured the FMC Violet in a car accident, he hates her even though it was his fault, bc he was driving drunk. He then proceeds to bully, degrade, and blackmail her, just because she’s at the same university. But all of a sudden he becomes aggressively obsessed with her, and wants her “pain”. *cue eyeroll*
Then all of a sudden she has a stalker…k? Oh but not just one stalker, TWO. Why?? She’s a basic 20 year old, who legit blows half the dudes in the book. But wait, she’s so “different” from other girls, she’s actually one of the best ballerinas on the east coast and everyone wants her to join their company? Plzzzzz.
She’s stalked by her ex-boyfriend, who is apparently obsessed with her? That’s storyline is barely written, it’s just haphazardly mentioned here and there when the author felt like being even more ridiculous.
Her other stalker is her old dance instructor.. Who’s so obsessed with Violet staying with her company that she goes to the point of kidnapping and threatening murder? Really?? For ballet?? And Violet can barely fucking walk without pain let alone dance, but this instructor is still obsessed with her?
This book was so ridiculously stupid, the author shouldn’t be allowed to even write this kind of garbage. Also, the amount of smut scenes is ludicrous. I swear, towards the end, it was just scene after scene, with legit no plot development. You’d finish reading about them boinking at the arena, then they’d do it again when they got home, then in the middle of the night, then morning.. on and on. Like we get it! We like smut but it was so repetitive it was exhausting and annoying.
