first of 2025 !!

I absolutely devoured this book. I guess i was craving some type of dark romance. I liked the author’s writing style and flow of the story. I wished the end wasnt so anticlimatic but it was great overall.

i didn’t want to put it down the whole time. honestly felt like a short read and i’m on to the next book

whoever said this is like icebreaker meets haunting adeline was so right they could never be wrong

good smut, like 50% / 50% plot, flows with it well
idk i’m guessing i finish books and then forget everything

Honestly? I’m so glad I waited to read this book til the start of the year. 2024 is my “year of the OTT/JP MMC’s” and after reading the first 2 books of the Boys of Chapel Crest this was a GREAT one to read as a pallet cleanser in the middle of a series.

Was Greyson my fave hero? No. Honestly, he annoyed me a bit getting all angry at Violet about things that were CLEARLY his fault.

Did I still eat up this book? Absolutely.

Am I now reading the next book in the series? Shit, yes. I am.

Violet was great.. I adored her. Greyson was alright at first but by the time i got about 40% through the book I was IN LOVE WITH HIM. I also really loved their friend group and Steele is phenomenal. I’m so glad the next book is his. And I got super attached the Violet’s BFF, Willow, so I cant wait to dive into her book as well.

Def one of the better books Ive read in regards to hockey romances. Not something that was like… phenomenal literature by any means… but in terms of entertainment value and hotness?

5 fucking stars.

The fact that I liked this book is just screaming therapy
