This book is full of toxicity, I'm not going to recommend it in my entire life. Thanks bookstagram for fooling me to read this.
I thought I was enjoying this book for a minute, then it turned into a mess of bad decisions and I finished it only for the sake of it.
Violet gives BJ like popcorn at a cinema, and I don't know if that's the norm nowadays - did I miss something? It's questionable decision after questionable decision, and the only constant is how horrible Greyson is - building a whole plot on his decision to ruin HER life because she had the audacity to have her leg broken in a car accident HE caused which had mild repercussions on his life?! Get out of here.
I guess their relationship was sometimes sweet, but just when I started thinking that the plot could make up for the lack of logic in everyone's ability to make reasonable decisions, we got hammered with a basic ass plot twist which made NO sense at all.
So disappointed in this book! I've heard good things about the author so I may explore other references in her bibliography, but this one was a miss for me.

I honestly skimmed a lot of this. I didn’t like the storyline, not bc I don’t LOVE bully romances, bc I totally do. But bc this one didn’t really make sense to me. Why Greyson hated Violet in the first place was pretty weak.
I did like Greyson as a Dominant and how he went about it. I’m on the fence about how fucked up
I am that I didn’t hate the dubious consent scenes. They were pretty hot if only they had been fully undoubtedly consensual I’d have been a bigger fan.
Although the chemistry brwn Greyson & Violet also seemed to be lacking.

I think this a good book, but not really my cup of tea. Dark romance is very hard for me to get into because it really pushes the limits of consent and relationships to places that border on abuse for me.
It was over 600 pages of stalking and unhealthy relationship dynamics, but I have to say that it was very compelling and I wanted to know where it would go next! It does have an Interesting plot and some character growth. We see a young woman heal physically and emotionally from an injury and push herself to reach her dreams, and a selfish playboy go from a purely obsessed bully to in love and willing to burn down the world for the FMC.
There was a plot arc that was introduced in the last 20% of the book that seemed a little odd, but otherwise it was well plotted out.
I read this upon a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did, it's nice to go out of your comfort zone occasionally.
