just a basic book, i learned nothing revolutionary

if i had a nickel every time he gives a link to his website…

i often hear people who otherwise hate self-help praise this book, so i figured i’d give it a try. it was fine! a lot of the tips felt attainable and easy to implement. however, a lot of it felt too basic and i didn’t love some of the examples he shared. self-help just isn’t really for me.

4,5⭐️ é mesmo bom, não percebo o porquê das pessoas dizerem quem é overrated

If you say you haven’t learned anything from this book or any strategies to improve your daily life, re-read the book. Nobody is perfect and everybody should give this a read. The writing was great and I really liked the message of believing in your habits to make them a part of your identity. I know I will come back to this book for a reference guide for sure.

The best self help book I've ever come across. I really appreciate that this is science-based and focuses on establishing long-term behaviors. I've read this fully once and have revisited specific parts many times. James Clear is my type of self help guru and also has great content on his website and newsletter.
