A lot of it is obvious but some stuff has been really useful like the habit stacks and creating an environment that’s conductive with what you want to be doing

Another book on how to set goals.
Nothing earth shattering. Not sure what all the hype is about. I found it repetitive and dull. Not inspiring or motivating like so many have.

This book is a guide on how to create good habits and how to destroy your bad habits.

Did I really learn a lot from this book? No, not really. Was it interesting to read? Yes, definitely. In this book, the author, James Clear, writes about habits. To be more specific, he writes about atomic habits. Atomic habits are those small habits that create your system. He writes about the four laws to create or destroy a habit.

I do not think that I will take away that much from this book, to be honest. Maybe sometime when I want to create a new habit, I will remember some of the things James has mentioned in this book but I do not think this book was life changing at all. It was a nice, little read though.

I’m not normally big on self help books, but we chose this for book club and if wound up (literally) changing my life. I’ve often found myself struggling with big picture goals, and resetting my perspective to focus on the atomic has made all the difference. Can’t recommend enough!
