I read this at the height of the pandemic…need I say more??? Had I read this at any other time, maybe I would have like it less. But I didn’t, I read it at the perfect time and just enjoyed it immensely.

This book occupies a bizarre zone between heartfelt character novel and tale of modern apocalypse, an area I didn't think was even possible. While it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, it was still a decent read in general, and fairly entertaining.
