As a kid growing up who adored Seinfeld and now watches reruns for comfort more than the Office (who coulda thunk?) I loved the idea of this book. The transitions between bits and flow were seamless and Jerry's delivery (in the audiobook) was hi-lar-i-ous! But some of the bits landed a bit outside of a lens I find humorous now and that's okay. I also dove into the book hoping for a bit more exposition with the jokes to discuss the parameters of writing / being in comedy which was there but felt lacking to someone wanting more. However, for those looking for some great bits and delivery to laugh maniacally behind the wheel like I did, definitely great for a road trip or light read.

Short, light comedy bits which is really a nice break to have

A totally biased review because I adore Seinfeld

I absolutely love anything related to Jerry Seinfeld so I was extremely excited reading this. Around 400 jokes that he wrote along the years are presented and some of them you might have heard from his stand-up specials, however they are still funny a second or a third time you hear them. That's when you know the joke is good, right?

I knew nothing of the content of this book before being released, so seeing that it is only his material written down without any update or look into his personal life, I would suggest his audiobook as an alternative as well.

Being a fan of the show, I love his comedy. I’d still prefer to listen to him telling the jokes. Still, these bits were funny to read.

It’s incredible that someone could have such a long and successful career on this stuff. Still, there is a certain genius to it that makes it look so effortless. How this led to that is one of the unsolved conjectures the Clay Institute should pay a million dollars for the solution to.
funny fast-paced
funny lighthearted medium-paced

Not a real fan of yhe Seifrldcshow, but enjoyed this book

Should’ve read the synopsis, the rapid fire joke format is not for me
