As always Corinne doesn’t let you down in her storytelling. She doesn’t mince words either lol

This book takes you on quite the emotional roller coaster. You see these two people who love each other so incredibly much try to work through the roadblocks that they have put in place to “protect” their hearts.

Declan figures it out just in time for something to go wrong with Sid and he has to work through that and then he has to tell her the last secret he held back from her and they have to work through things to be together now that the path to their HEA is ready to be paved ❤️

It is really beautiful and sweet and downright adorable how they pave that path together also

This book is primary narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Ardnt. Both are tried and true narrators that I enjoy.

Milo is a character from another one of Corinne’s books and he was narrated by Shane East so he resumed his role for that character in this book and it was perfect and fun to hear ❤️

I wanted to just fall in love with this book but parts of it bugged me not enough to not finish just enough for me to want to say no to Declan but then he did something that melted my heart.

Sydney has always been in love with Declan; she was part of the family growing up and then into more. It was always the two of them until it wasn’t now that he is back because of the land and the 6 month pledge from their fathers will.

They are drawn to each other and they can’t fight the attraction some people are just meant to be.

Now the parts that bugged me was the constant back and forth. I am not a fan of it in any genre but especially in contemporary romance.

But then the stuff with the hospital happened and I was sunk Delcan had me in a puddle I tell ya.

So now I must start the next book.

The narration was good Andi again but I didn’t mind her, and SebYo.. Who I love to listen to so perfect balance.

Fight for Me is outstanding!

I have been dying to read this book for what seems like forever. And the wait has been worth every minute. The Arrowood brothers will not only take your breath away, they will steal your heart.

Corinne Michaels is an extremely talented writer and storyteller. There’s nobody else like her. When you pick one of her books you know there’s an emotional roller coaster waiting for you. She will pull at your heartstrings almost to the point of breaking. She will make you cry rivers and even laugh a bit. Her stories are compelling and heartbreaking and beautiful, and most certainly unputdownable.

Fight for Me is the second book in the Arrowood Brothers series. It’s Declan’s and Sydney’s story. It’s a fist love/soulmate, second chance romance that will break your heart and drive you to drink, most likely. And I mean that in a good way.

Declan Arrowood has been in love with Sydney Hastings since the day they met. They made promises to each other that they intended to keep forever. But sometimes life changes in an instant. Declan and his brothers made a pact that forced him to break every single promise he ever made to Sydney, successfully breaking her heart. Now he’s forced back in Sugarloaf for six months, and avoiding Sydney is all but impossible. Just as impossible as denying how he feels about her. Now he will have to decide if he’s going to go back to the path he chose eight years ago, or if he’s willing to risk everything for a second shot to forge their path to happiness.

Fight for Me is an epic first love second chance love story both heartbreaking and heartwarming that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. It’s a story filled with regret but also forgiveness. It will touch your heart and soul, and leave you wanting for more. And as always, it’s exceptionally written. So, so beautiful. And I honestly cannot wait to read Sean’s story.

Been feeling like I'm in a bit of a slump and not really loving everything I've been reading lately, however really enjoyed this book and looking forward to getting stuck into the rest of the series. I loved that it was really fast paced and feels like a good palette cleanser.

I really liked both MCs even the MMC who was very stubborn but he came around in the end and was there for her throughout it all

- childhood best friends/lovers to strangers to lovers
- second chance
- accidental pregnancy

These two drove me nuts.  The first half was repetitive and obnoxious.  Their refusal to talk and her constant begging but not asking the right question really got on my nerves.  So call me shocked when I was a freaking mess for the last half of the book.  I didn't realize that I was that invested in these two.
