A cute romance about a high school couple driven apart & getting a second chance years later.

I'm a Teagan Hunter fan through and through! Her romcoms speak to my inner geek and her love stories are always so endearing. This novella in the Slice universe can be read as a stand alone and it is delicious. Second chance romance that will make you swoon. With Frank coming into her own, and finally being able to admit her love... And Jonas finally doing right by his heart. The Epilogue... Teagan thank you for that epilogue... It was perfect!

Oh my!!!!! I think this one is my fav in the series!!! I love Jonas! Who can't love a snarky, hot football player right. And to fall in love with the shy girl. LOVE IT!!!!

Jonas is back home after hurting his knee. He is up for a NFL contract and is on the mend. Between physical therapy and his part time job at Slice, he should be back on the field in no time. But a blast from the past makes it so much harder.

Frankie is an artist. An artist who is shy and well only every been in love once. Once was enough. But when that past shows up at the door, she is thrown for a loop and all the anger returns. Can she forgive and forget?

This story was fun and serious all rolled into one. Between the snarky comments and sweet moments you are sure to fall in love with this story. Jonas and Frankie are beautiful together and I wish there was more. I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic comedy. It has all the classic Teagan Hunter qualities her other books have. Laughter, tears, happiness and swoon worthy romance. Ms Hunter is a goddess in the Rom-Com world and we as readers are not worthy. Bravo!

Thoughts: Ahhh! So excited for the next book!!

**I received an advance copy of this from the author and their team, and I volunteered to leave an unbiased review**

It should be noted first that this story was first released as part of the Team Player 2 anthology, but it has extra parts and an epilogue.

All that to say, this might be the cutest thing I've ever read. It's so adorable I have a smile on my face that actually hurts.

This has humour, had light angst, fun side characters, pizza. What more could you ask for people?!?

This is an adorable second chance story between your popular and now injured jock/football player and shy, studious pastor's daughter Frankie.

The friendship between them was almost as pure as their love story.

This is everything guys. Just.. everything.

You don't even need to read the other Slice books to get this! BUT YOU SHOULD BECAUSE THEY ARE GREAT.

This was a second chance novella from the Slice series. It was a cute book. Loved the notebooks. How Jonas and Frankie built their friendship. I cracked up when Frankie met Jonas parents.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet up with your high school boyfriend again? Have you ever pondered what they were up to now? Well Frankie knows exactly where her ex boyfriend is, he is a star NFL Quarterback. Did she think they might see each other again.... well maybe but she would never have guessed it was delivering her favourite pizza. He too is shocked that the woman standing in front of him, is that sweet innocent girl from his past. A lot has happened in the years they have been apart and Jonas now has the opportunity to set things right again between them. It won't be easy, as Frankie was so hurt, and she does not want a repeat performance.

I first read this novella when released in the Team Player 2 Anthology and loved this couple. Now it has been revamped with extra content and an epilogue. I love a second chance romance and that it is football themed is a bonus for me. If you have read this one before the same as me, you will get a kick out of the additional content. But if this is new to you, well you are in for a treat discovering Jonas and Frankie with their sassiness and banter. Teagan Hunter fans won't want to miss this one.

A Slice of Love is a novella set within the Slice world. This is a complete standalone and a good introduction into Teagan's brand of humor and writing style.

We first met Frankie and Jonas in the Team Player 2 anthology. A Slice of Love is an expanded version of that story. And I'm all about it.

Jonas was the HS quarterback; Frankie, the daughter of the principal and the pastor. One weekend and a school project later, the secrets in their hearts come spilling out.

Four years later, Jonas is back in town nursing a football injury. Fate or chance bring him back to Frankie's door. What follows is a sweet and funny story of second chances and PIZZA!

Though it's a novella, A Slice of Love does a really good job of presenting a well-developed story with fun and interesting characters. I'm glad Teagan opted to expand Frankie and Jonas' story, and I absolutely loved getting a peak at where they end up.

I highly recommend this series!
