One star off bc she was way too smart to fall for the bs Kyle was trying to pull. But great novel with two leads who have crazy chemistry.

I don't know if it was the narration or the writing style of the book, but I couldn't get into it. The first person point of view made Ember seem rather annoying and kind of selfish almost and I had a hard time not getting to annoyed with the characters.

I will be making fry bread tomorrow and nothing can stop me. 

This was pretty typical as far as workplace romances go but, it was really comforting and refreshing to read a story that had indigenous characters and related topics. And, that's not even mentioning the Phenomenal MMC - could there be a better book boyfriend?! We stan Danuwoa 🖤🖤🖤

 I will absolutely be picking up the next book from this author.
