This has been my favorite thus far in the series. Had me crying at the end and everything.

Devney Perry does it again!

Luke Rosen is the swoony hero we all love. Patient and sweet and noble. Watching Luke and Scarlett fall in love is a magical sight.

Noble Prince is jam-packed with suspense and tension and all the little moments that make your heart melt. Luke and Scarlett don't start off on the best of terms. There love is gradual and gentle before it turns to fire and all-consuming.

The growing romance and building suspense will keep you turning the page and reading all night.

Scarlett and Luke’s story could have been in the background of Cassie and Leo’s because at least Leo was a core character. It was a sweet story but maybe too sweet for my taste. And I found myself wishing ANYTHING bad would happen just so something would. Kinda weird how Tucker just kidnapped the girls and didn’t do anything?!? He’s supposed to be this evil guy who just waits to murder someone who’s trying to take him down? So far this has been a very tame MC adjacent storyline so I’m wondering if that will ever ultimately be resolved. Everyone’s probably gonna live

I really liked this book, but I had one huge issue with it that nagged me throughout: Scarlett was a straight up prisoner for like 6 months. Couldn’t go outside or even open the blinds.

I liked the characters a lot, especially Luke, but their relationship gave me Stockholm syndrome vibes and not in a good way.

Noble Prince is the fourth book in the Clifton Forge series, it continues from where we left off in Stone Princess. This review may have spoilers for the previous books, as they are interconnected. Presley's sister, Scarlett's, life was in danger from the Warriors, as her ex told them she stole drug money from them. Luke, chief of police in Clifton Forge, has placed Scarlett under his protection. The small town doesn't have a budget for protection, so she is placed at his home. She feels a prisoner there, and what unfolds is a hate to love romance that is wonderful.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book, as Scarlett was not my favourite person in Stone Princess. Devney Perry did a great job of letting us get into Scarlett's head and see where all the things she did had a meaning and reason. Scarlett and Luke were perfect for each other. Scarlett has major trust issues (and comes by it with reason) and Luke is a patient, kind guy that works for her. Though neither of these characters were in the Gypsies, we still get the usual characters from previous (and future) books, conflicting with the other motorcycle club, the Warriors.

I liked that this was a slow burn, where we got to see Scarlett come out of her shell and truly get to know Luke before anything happened. Even more we got to see her open up to Luke and share the things she feared the most. Luke is such a pure guy that just wants love, life and happiness.

This series is much different than what I have read from Devney Perry, but I find myself drawn to it and enjoy seeing what happens with all these characters!

Read if you love: forced proximity, hate to love, romantic suspense, slow burn
