Honestly, I picked this up solely because the cover looked spooky and the audiobook was included on KU. SOLD.
A woman lives in a shed. Her captor tells her what he name is (according to him), that he keeps her alive, and that everything she has is because of him. It's a scary, hungry life, but it's been hers for about five years. After she was taken. She doesn't know why he didn't kill her like he did the others. But she knows when the chance comes to escape, she's going to have to risk it all and take it.
It took a bit to keep up with the women narrating, but I loved that it was all women narrating and that the woman in the shed became the woman in the house and so on. SO GOOD.

The Quiet Tenant is book about survival and the psychological effects on victims of abuse.
i’ve never read a thriller with second-POV and that was pretty genius. it literally drops you into the story (pretty scary tbh :-)). in addition to that, the abuser did not get a POV and i really appreciated how the focus was on the victims and/or survivors and their stories. all that being said, don’t go into this expecting too many twists as it’s fairly predictable given the POV choices.
overall this was a unique to me read and i do recommend the audiobook as well!
