This book was a delight. It was a fun pirate adventure where you watch the band getting back together. The setting was new to me and I loved being immersed in it. It hit every beat at the right time and left the door open for sequels.

Wow, a thick listening, but got to spread it out over a couple road trips with H<3 I loved that it felt like there were strains of so many stories in here; at times it felt like we were in the world of A Master of Djinn, Arcane, Scavengers Reign, and Snow White. Appreciate that this was set in SWANA in an earlier time period, a fun way to learn a bit more about history. Very queer and diverse with a thoughtful and considerate MC (they gave sag energy). While it was heavier at times overall felt like a lighter hearted read and adored the ending.
