Now that I am reading the other reviews, it is making want to hear the audio version. I wanted to hear all of the music identified and my mind kept thinking about that. Great insight into how much work is needed to be a professional musician.

I don't have enough of a classical music background to have understood much of what Denk had to say about specific pieces, and that kind of commentary makes up a significant chunk of the book. I'm sure the audio book helps make that feel like less of a slog, but it still may be a little much for anyone without some significant musical knowledge.
