Being a huge Wolverine fan I was expecting to hate this graphic novel. I know how Marvel is trying to empower feminism by blurting out important female characters and Wolverine X-23 is just one of them. X-23 can never replace Logan, but she's not a bad character at all. Needs a ton of development, but this is the first graphic novel I've read about her so there is room for improvement.

This graphic novel focuses on the four sisters who are clones of Wolverine. They escaped the lab and are still escaping the people who created them. The plot of this first volume isn't as interesting as I expected, but I deemed it as an introductory volume for the series. I'm really hoping that things would improve along the way.

The artwork is commendable. I have a few Marvel series that I hate because of the artwork, but thankfully this one didn't disappoint.

Wolverine has never been a favorite character of mine, so naturally it took me quite a while to convince myself to read a new Wolverine series. Unlike the standard Logan, Laura is much, much more interesting.

She doesn't constantly brood about "Who am I, where did I come from," she knows who she is, what she was created for, and is struggling to be better then that. It is a compelling change from the standard Logan dynamic, and really breathes new life into this character.

Weapon X, corporate corruption, and greed perfect blend for an engaging story.

My only complaint is that in her struggle to be better, Laura is eschewing killing, and while I get that tends to be the line between "hero" and "vigilante" I hope Laura doesn't avoid killing for the entirety of her run, as this volume shows, some people just have to go (at least in the comic book world :) ).

"You're the worst there is at what they wanted you to do. That's pretty impressive."

In All-New Wolverine, Volume 1: The Four Sisters, X-23 takes on a protective role as she mourns the loss of Logan. Though she’s taken on his mantle and is now the protector, it’s also great to see such stark differences between Laura and Logan; Laura’s insistence on not killing makes the plot better and her character more interesting.

Lopez and Navarrot’s take on the classic X-Men suit is stupendous. It’s retro but modern, and Laura wears it superbly.

I love this book and I am loving this whole series. X-23 feels like she’s getting the attention and story her stupendous character deserves.

I’m in love with Laura as Wolverine!! I’d also love to see more interactions between her and Wolverine, and more of her boyfriend (Angel?). Gabby was a sweetheart too.

I was recommended this series and I have to say - I love it! X-23 taking up the mantle of Wolverine, clones, action, guest stars - this series has everything!

Trying out a Comixology Unlimited account. This volume was okay, I feel like I get Laura as a character, though I’m not rushing to read the next volume just yet. I was never as huge Wolverine fan as others though.

I heart this so much! I have always loved X-23 and now that she's Wolverine, she's still just as cool but now everyone knows it!!! Great start to a great series! I can see this being excellent!
