it’s good! my main critiques are just the neoliberalism of the politics, but that’s about what i expected. this is, after we get through the childhood/early life section, written more like a history book than a memoir, but i don’t particularly mind that.

This book should be required reading for everyone in the US who interacts with the school system, especially parents and public school teachers.

Judy's life is such a testament to the amazing things we are capable of if we just listen to one another and work together to make our world a better place.

This book was informative but also engaging and spirited. I loved learning about how people came together to speak out and pave the way for so many necessary changes that had to take place within our government to bring more equity to the people in our country.
