N.E.W.T.s Readathon 2019
This was bought as a gift for me because of my love of manga and that whole style, so my mom thought I would love the art at the very least... which I absolutely do. I'm not the biggest fan of Twilight, I find the story a bit tough to swallow at times (the insta love was the worst part for me), but this condensed version isn't too bad. So given my love of vampires, this beautiful artwork, and the passable story, I'd say this was a pretty enjoyable read.

Pořád je to kýčovitý... Kresby jsou nádherné, jen je škoda, že všichni vypadají stejně. Kolikrát jsou pasáže hrozně urychlené a člověku, co by nečetl/neviděl Twilight, by tak uniklo spoustu věcí. Za mě tedy spíš 3,5*.

Ooit, lang geleden, toen de Twilight film net in de bioscopen draaide, was ik een rasechte Twilight fan. Ik schreef Twilight fanfiction, ik had posters op mijn kamer hangen en ik ben zelfs een tijdje medebeheerder geweest van de Hyves pagina. De Graphic Novels heb ik echter compleet gemist, maar er kwam vorige week een aanbieding langs die ik gewoon NIET af kon slaan en vanochtend ben ik er eens lekker voor gaan zitten.
Wat zijn de tekeningen in dit boek ongelooflijk mooi! De verschillende locaties lijken bijna foto's en spatten echt van de pagina's af, maar ook de karakters komen echt helemaal tot leven! Het verhaal blijft natuurlijk hetzelfde, maar het is echt een klein kunstwerkje geworden en ik snap dan ook helemaal dat deze boeken zo populair zijn dat ze gewoon niet meer te krijgen zijn. Ik baal er echt ontzettend van dat ik de rest niet heb. Ik ga mijn ogen openhouden dus!

Only part one of the first book of the Twilight series, the graphic novel is just as interesting, visually pleasing and intriguing at the first full book was for everyone who read it.
If you prefer pictures over words then this is the perfect book. It’s the same story – less words – but a lot can be conveyed through pictures and expressions.
I really enjoyed reading the first volume of the graphic novel and it will be interesting to see how far they carry the graphic novels. I haven’t heard yet when the release date for Volume 2, but I’m looking forward to adding it to the collection as well.
