Loving this series

OMG, this was amazing. I am loving Astrid and her guys. This book was a roller coaster of emotions and I love how it made me feel while reading it. Looking forward to the next book.

Just meh

As with the first book, I still just don’t know how I feel about this trilogy. At certain times it seems as if the author has the writing capabilities of a high school student. “Don’t talk about her like that. She’s my soulmate.” It was just so corny. Orion, I just don’t know how I feel about him... it feels like he’s pushed Astrid to be with Conan and start her harem more than she has. Almost like he’s forcing this issue, it’s a little strange. As well as the way he calls them “kids” and calls Conan “boy”, emphasizing their age difference and almost making it a little creepy. I don’t have an issue with a wide age gap, but when the person comments on it multiple times and refers to his girlfriend as a “kids these days”, it’s a little weird in my opinion. Also, after Astrid finds out her family has been kidnapped she decides to hang out and take a nap and have sex with Orion... while her family is missing. Um what?! I’d be doing everything I could to find my family. I will still read the final book for the sake of finding out the ending because I am curious.

Update: I decided not to read the third book after all. Just really not feeling these books.
