19 pages and 1 color, and Sejic told such a strong story. I got chills. And I'm so sad he had to take a step back from DC to focus on his own health and stories. I would have loved his Isley comic, like I love all his stuff. He say so much with so little!

Harley Quinn Black + White + Red #1 is arguably my favorite Harley Quinn issue I've read in a LONG time. This is everything that die-hard fans deserved; showing off both sides of a beloved character, including an aspect that has frequently been overlooked as of late. It is SO refreshing to see, and I cannot wait for more.
Bonus points for following the color palette defined by the title. Most of the issue is as you might have guess black and white. But there are pops of red, used to highlight and draw the focus. Tt's all extremely well done! Though I might be biased here since I love this style.

i'm not counting this as part of my 2021 goal as it's only ~19 pages long, but this story is so cute and harley deserves the world (or in this case, poison ivy)
