This was a difficult read at times. The comedy bits did not quite hit the note for me, but the language is undoubtedly masterful and there was a sense of immediacy throughout. A stunning drama and character piece, although not as tight as Othello. I genuinely enjoyed the bulk of the play, and the tension was perfectly orchestrated particularly the final scene.

Finally read it, I honestly think that having seen it performed as almost a comedy, Hamlet does lend itself to it remarkably well (also he is much more of a little sh*t that character assassinates everyone around him than what popular culture led me to believe).

This is my first time reading the play. I'm yet to watch it. I think I might reread it again in the near future. 

It was surprisingly challenging, but in a good way. It was interesting to read something with such a foreign language, but the story and charactes are very familiar. Tense and dramatic, very humorous too. I might become a fan of Shakespeare. Beautiful beautiful language.
