Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Meh this was definitely not one of Reid's stronger books. It followed the typical trope of girl's life is a mess, she meets a boy and her life is suddenly turned around for the better, they run into issues, but ultimately end up happily ever after. With the twist of dual lives, it was too repetitive and fell flat.

this book was really easy to get into and very engaging from the start! I haven't read any books like this before where it switches between alternate universes (that I can remember) and I had a great time reading.

this is definitely going in my top 3 TJR books.

The way the book was written was very interesting, there was (light spoiler)
two different time lines every chapter that kept the book engaging to the readers. The middle was a little slow but ending was good!

I usually enjoy TJR but this one didn’t capture me. It was pretty predictable, and repetitive once you saw where it was headed.

Ugh I really need to stop reading romance novels but I gave this one a chance because I typically like Taylor Jenkins Reid writing so I thought I would enjoy it. I wish I could take my thoughts back and just skip it.

What was the point of this book? No idea. But if I hear the words cinnamon bun one more time….. WE GET IT SHE LOVES CINNAMON BUNS

Also, can we please stop throwing quantum physics in every plot like it’s the new trendy thing to do?
