I read this book right after I finished the first one, and I have to say that overall, I loved this more than the previous one, and I will explain why in this review.

We are still following Lisa's life, this is Lisa Millar Series after all, and with the "OMG!" started I know things would be crazier than book one. And I was so ready to learn more and see how the story was going, but really, I was not as ready as I thought, especially for certain sad moments.

In this novel we uncover some secrets, and go on a rollercoaster of emotions. First, there is one secret that is revealed that I immediately thought about it, way before it is reveal, and that made total sense thinking back on book one. At least I think it does, then again I have no real contact with someone that has that illness, or I don't think so, and I certainly don't know a lot about it. But I have read books that talk about it, and I liked that in this book it wasn't really the problem, it was just part of life.

Then there are new characters that are introduced and I got quite excited about them and to know where the story would go now that they are involve. And drama seems to follow Lisa everywhere, so I was very curious to know  what would happen next.

By chapter five of this book I was feeling a lot different about Lisa. Still thought she was overreacting about certain things, but I remembered that I know lots of people that are lot older than me that are worse than she is. So I didn't feel frustrated. I was more frustrated because of the situation she was in than by her actions.

At one point I started crying, I felt for Lisa, because she didn't deserve what had happen, and of course, my mom came into the living room because she was worried about me. That hasn't happen in a while, so I'm considering it a successful point in the story, in terms of me connecting with the characters.

Of course, overall, it was an emotional book. And I won't say exactly what happened because I would be giving spoilers, but I was so happy and then go sad and angry. The drama was different this time, and although the drama in book one still keeps being a problem for Lisa, the added situation she ends up in, does not help. And I feel for her.

What I came to realize, and it was something that I liked because I honestly just wanted to know about the characters interaction, is that we are seeing the story without school/work involved. I didn't minded at all because I was caught up in the drama and friendship and texting that I didn't even noticed until half of the second book.

This is the kind of book you can't read as a standalone, because it makes more sense if you know that has happen previous, especially with the cliffhangers and all the questions that are left unanswered. So I do recommend you to read the books in order, if you are curious about Lisa's story.

The second book in this series. I do struggle with the style of writing but it somehow doesn’t stop me getting engrossed in the storyline. However, the characters do seem to have a rough time of it and never seem to catch a break! I would quite like for there to be a happy ever after. I’m hoping the third book may do that.
