This book was essentially just back to back eye rolls on my part. Not my cup of tea.

This book dragged for me. For the first 75% of the book Mia was overly aggressive, don't get me wrong, I love strong warrior women but she was too much at times. She has her reasons but it grated on me, I also disliked a lot of the other characters for most of the book.
The overall story was interesting which is the only way I was able to keep reading the book. I feel like the book would have been stronger If Mia has gotten with Kyran earlier in the book because that is where it picked up for me and it was the last quarter of the book.

They say to let sleeping giants lie. Mia has obviously never heard this. She is fists of fury, raging sense of responsibility, and dedication. She does not however possess the ability to let things go.

Wow, Idk why I didn't read this sooner. I enjoyed every moment of this sassy hunter's story. And read this mostly in one night. This was a Buddy Read, plus a BoTm from a group. I plan to read more of this series. Also this book will be part of my 12X12 challenge.
