✨ARC Review✨

I was so hype for this book to come out after reading the first one I was foaming at the mouth and it did not disappoint. Sebastian as a protective brother is the character I absolutely needed, love him and Drew refusing to take no as an answer from Seb also made me drool. Love a "she is mine no matter what" type character.

The ONLY qualm I had in this entire book was the scenes with the broken bottle. It got a little too close to DV for me and it was just a weird scene. Bel cut Drew several times with a broken bottle and was shocked when she saw she did it but then did it again, and again. It just felt odd especially when Drew didn't have a bigger reaction after being abused for his entire childhood. It seemed a little out of place in this book. But other than that I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
dark tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: N/A
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

After book one I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous on how this was all going to all go down and what all the secrets would end up unveiling with the bang of a cliffhanger from “The Wallflower” (first book of this duet/must read prior!) But I couldn’t stop listening to the duet and immediately started #2 with the cliffhanger she left us on!! I mean let’s be real it was jaw dropping and I didn’t see that one coming!!

I loved the character development of Drew, Bel and Seb! Often when reading bully romances, I find the authors don’t give us enough back story or the emotional turmoil into why the MC’s exude the behaviors initially. I think this was done in a very raw, but real way. Making you invested and rooting for the demise of the true bad guys and wanting their HAE! am very excited to read Seb’s book as he totally won me over!!

I enjoyed book one better due to the holes in some of the storyline of this one. But I still finished it.

This book was chaotic. The first one left alot up in the air and a lot of unanswered questions… some were answered but some of the answers were so out there I had to take a second to process. If you’re looking for a villain with absolutely not one single redeeming quality Lyle is DEFINITELY it. I’m in love with the boys from the Mill and Bel, and can’t wait for the next one about Sebastian.

Story just kept repeating itself with dumb storyline. Shake cuz first was good

The Wildflower is the second book in the Oakmount Elite series. This book can’t be read as a standalone. This is the continuation of Maybel Jacobs and Andrew “Drew” Marshall’s story.

I can see why Drew is as he is. He is abused by a parent. He is a broken man.

I love the books that this author has written. I love reading dark themed books, but this was a hard book to read, not really sure why. It just didn’t really click with me. Book 1 was a fabulous 5 STAR book so I was a little surprised that this book just didn’t flow well for me. I just wish I could rate this book higher. It's not only disappointing for the author but disappointing for me. I will still read books by this author because I love her books, and this isn't a regular thing.

Amazing

I mean WTF was that. Talk about a roller-coaster and getting hit from left field. This book had so much going on in the best way possible. It definitely keeps you on your toes. I am so excited for Sabastian's story.
