After The Wallflower, I couldn’t wait to see how Bel would get revenge. I LOVE Bel. The book started great however started to get quite predictable and had to push myself to finish towards the end.
I’m not joking when I tell you guys I devoured this book in less a day. I couldn’t put it down unless I really needed to.

This is the second part of Drew and Bel's story. I have been on edge to read it since the cliffhanger at the end of "The Wallflower." And God, this was worth the wait! This book is as compelling as the first and is sure to be one of my top reads of the year. From page one, the story grabbed my attention and didn't let go. It was everything I was hoping for and more. Even though Bel and Drew's story ends with an HEA, I'm not done with the Oakmount Elite series because Sebastian is coming, and I am so ready for him.
Drew Marshall is the epitome of a nightmare—deranged, psychotic, and utterly immoral. After breaking Bel's heart and humiliating her, Drew's relentless obsession keeps her trapped. Seeking protection from Drew’s best friend Sebastian, who reveals himself as her brother, only tightens Drew's grip. Their twisted, dangerous relationship is compelling and addictive. This sequel in the Oakmount Elite series is a dark, thrilling read that you won’t be able to put down. Note: This book must be read after "The Wallflower" and includes dark themes and questionable morals.

I appreciated the plot twist. Personally I liked the first book better.
JL does it again! She brings another phenomenal read, and I couldn’t put it down! This is one author that you will guarantee will bring a dark, steamy, red-flag filled story!
This started where the first left off, leaving Bel devasted. There was so much we knew but also so much we still needed to learn. I liked the suspense part of this story and feeling like I knew where things were going only to be completely surprised! I do feel like I need more info around this society though!
Drew is his own special brand of red flag! I did enjoy the growth he had. You could see he was sorry for the things he had said and done, but at the same time, he still doesn’t act like a normal person would! I still loved every depraved thing he did though!
Despite Bel knowing how unhealthy they seem to be as a couple sometimes, she can't find it in herself to stay away.
I have always really enjoyed the way this author writes her stories, this one is no different. The pace was slow in some places, but it still kept me engaged and hurrying to turn the page. There was plenty of action and as always the spicy scenes were blush worthy!
These two are truly perfect for each other and I really enjoyed that despite Drew being unhinged and psychopathic, he really did care for Bel.
I did want to see more of them together though! Another fabulous read that I couldn’t put down! I am so ready for the next one!
