so so freaking close to a five star read!!!! ahhh!!!! definitely my favorite of the month and top five of the year so far. really, i’ve yet to read an elle kennedy book i haven’t enjoyed, so i am completely unsurprised i sat down and read this in one sitting. this book had my tipsy ass talking to myself trying to figure out which guy she was going to end up choosing (hint: i was RIGHT). and i really love how her history project mirrored her own life, and i sobbed when that conclusion finally came about. *john mulaney voice* i didn’t know elle kennedy could even do that???? actual tears and sobbing, ugh. ANYWAY halfway through this book had me screaming “no time for pleasantries, show me your wiener!!!!” but really that was the wine talking bc the pacing of this book was fantastic. it even had me liking a love triangle, of all things. i find myself hoping for this to turn into a standalone series. i need jamie’s and lee’s and sophie’s and everyone’s love story STAT
