I think I’ve read this same book like a dozen times, but now with Vikings! Still enjoyed it. Super easy to devour. I suppose there is just one romantasy story to tell. If the series ends on marriage and pregnancy and happily ever after, I’m going to lose my shit.

I ate this one up, i definitely enjoyed the plot line
The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was freya being like why me
But also understanding she has has no control over her life basically
It was good i quite enjoyed it and bjorn OHHHH lord that man I love you but we have beef but I’ll hear you out 🙂↕️

I am really enjoying getting into a world built on Norse mythology. I feel like a majority of what I see is Greek or Roman so this feels fresh and fun.
This spicy main character really gives me flashes of characters like Thea from Legends of Thezmar by Helen Scheuerer or Xena Warrior Princess, even bits of Alanna the Lioness from Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce.
Cons:
Freaking men.
