Too woo-woo for me but there were some parts I liked and she's good at telling stories and giving a deeper meaning/look into the fairy tales we think we know.

Enjoyed it more talking to the friend who loaned it to me than I enjoyed reading it lol had to dnf bc I'm moving and we needed to swap books back, otherwise prob would have finished it in the next couple months.

not at all for me. maybe it’s because I have really great parents, but i really just could not relate to a lot of what this woman said. could totally understand if some middle aged white housewives feel empowered by this book.

also, when i think of women getting in touch with their “wild” side, i think about women going absolutely feral, not just “shedding” why society thinks of them. like give me some real crazy ass women doing some crazy shit.

Great book, a lot of insights. It is meant to read slowly. Digest it, let it sink in. It took me a year to read it, that’s how slowly one can take all the information in. Sometimes I felt it resonating, sometimes I wasn’t in the right place. I have never had such an experience before.

Changed my life in ways I didn’t think were possible
