Entertaining variations
There are several Princess and the Frog variants along with other remodelled fairy tales. Nice , light reading for bedtime.

This one was a DNF, mostly because my library checkout expired and the book wasn't good enough to justify renewing.
Like all anthologies, there were some good and some not so good stories. Though why there were sooooooo many retellings of The Princess and the Frog specifically is beyond me

A mixed bag, as expected. Standouts are: The Price, The Dybbuk in the Bottle, The Shell Box(!!!), You Wandered Off Like a Foolish Child, Toad-Rich (perfect to read aloud), Skin So Green and Fine, and Marsh-Magic.

I read the stories by Patricia Briggs, Robin McKinley, and Patricia McKillip, and they were all good.

Of this series of anthologies, I have enjoyed this one the most! I was a slow reader on this one (one story before bed every few nights) but I could have easily devoured these stories in the half the time.
