This was my first read by Jade West. I have at least 4 of her books on my top TBR to read but after reading the teaser for this one I had to read it. I read it immediately in one day. I love age gap. I really enjoyed this book. Please check trigger warning.

Jade West is always a solid choice for a spicy read. I will NEVER look at a whisk the same. 😅

This is a large age gap. (30 years). Rosie, the fmc, is 18. Her mother is not a shining example of a responsible adult. Julian, the mmc, has his own demons, of course. There is a story in these pages, not just spice but the large age gap and explicit detail may not appeal to some readers.

One heck of a story!!
Jade, this story is so multilayered with such intense characters that consumed me until the very end. I couldn’t put this book down. HOLY MOLY…I will probably blush the next time I take out the whisk ☺️

I'm typically a lover of taboo themes, weird characters, age gaps, etc...that wasn't the issue, I know what I signed up for. And I normally don't mind a more character focused story with a lighter plot, but this story's plot was almost non-existant. I got half way through and I had no clue what I'm rooting for, the characters were very bland once you've removed the kink elements. I realise I had no interest into the outcome and knew it was time to dnf.
